Product Description:

This adhesive is one of the highest performance adhesive available. It is high in solids making it ideal for use in uneven or porous surfaces and lightweight materials. Has excellent heat resistance. It is waterproof, flexible, transparent and non-staining. Use TRIM TAC #2178 for all upholstery applications, automotive, marine and furniture. This product contains NO CHLORINATED SOLVENTS or OZONE DEPLETERS.

 DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
 Use with air assisted spray system for applying this adhesive. Spray pressure recommendations: Atomizing Pressure - 15-20 psi, Fluid Pressure - 10-15 psi. Be certain to cover 100% of substrate surface. The adhesive should feel tacky to the touch, but without transferring to your fingers. Bonds should be made within approximately 15-20 minutes.
 

Once bonds have been made this is no “repositionability”. Bonds are permanent! For ease of cleanup use Acetone or Mineral Spirits.

 
DANGER:
 Extremely Flammable. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames and hot surfaces. No smoking. Take precautionary measures against static discharge. Use only outdoors or in well ventilated areas. May be harmful or fatal if swallowed and enters airways. Avoid breathing fumes or vapors. Wear personal protective equipment as required. May cause damage to organs (central nervous system (CNS)) through prolonged or repeated exposure. Harmful to aquatic life.  
 

 PROFESSIONAL & INDUSTRIAL USE

Professional Use Only
Use in a well ventilated area.
Note:
Contact adhesive is not suitable for structural applications.
May damage some plastics, test before use.
Do not use on copper, copper alloys, some vinyls or polystyrene foam.
Let adhesive assemblies cure for at least 72 hours before exposing to direct sunlight or temperature over 150°F.
Adhesive may gel if stored at low temperatures, but returns to normal viscosity at 70°F (21°C).
